Child early and forced marriages are a global problem across many different countries, culture, religion and ethnicities. Child marriages remain a widespread in Zimbabwe. As of 2019 approximately, 1 of 3 girls in Zimbabwe are married before the age of 18. Early pregnancy is one of the most dangerous cause and consequence of this harmful practice. Girls married early are more likely to experience violence, abuse, and forced sexual relations due to unequal power relations they are more vulnerable to sexual transmitted infections and diseases
