Zoleka is a friendly 18-year-old, hardworking girl who is an excellent communicator and empathetic young woman who relates well with others. She is also a hard worker and a multi-tasker. I am an excellent communicator and an attentive listener. She is friendly and empathic and relates well with the people in her environment. She has a team-oriented attitude and works well in a team environment. Zoleka was an active part of clubs and societies at high school and has a good understanding of cultural awareness. She has volunteered at various charitable organizations such as Sandra Jones Children Homes, Engutsheni, and Emthunzini Wethemba. She is a passionate public speaker and performer who has performed several times at various concerts and has won various awards at the annual Allied Arts Eistefodd. Enjoy writing and reading poetry and prose especially on topics and issues that are prevalent in today’s world such as feminism, pan Africanism, and many more. Her favorite piece of literature is the novel Half of a Yellow Sun by Chimamanda Adichie. In 2015, she won 1st-grade junior poetry (allied arts eisteddfod). In 2017 Zoleka won the Honours award for senior poetry, (Girls college literary competition). In 2018 she was selected to represent Zimbabwe at the world championships of performing arts. In 2019 she won the Chisipite cup for best senior poetry performance allied arts, Honours award for senior prose performance, and the 1st-grade senior monologue (allied arts eisteddfod) and in 2021 she won the 1st place winner of the Intwasa lockdown short story competition.
