Patience Tomu

Patience is an effective and positive team player known for contributing effective creative solutions as well as technical ability. She is able to give and embrace constructive criticism while working in a team environment towards a common goal. She has a high sense of commitment to the assigned functions and a high degree of responsibility and easy interpretation of the status quo. She was a participant at the Emthonjeni Women’s Forum. In September 2019 – February 2020, she trained to be an ambassador of social justice under the project ‘speak out khuluma end sexual harassment now’. She is also involved in the June 2020– Nov 2021 Dot youth Zimbabwe “siyakha project. Patience has been trained as a young woman advisory member under this project which was mainly focusing on empowering young women leaders of integrity. She is also part of the YOUTH-LED INNOVATIVE ENGAGEMENT with LEADERSHIP and DEVELOPMENT (YIELD) March 2021– to date and is currently being trained on youth engagement and advocacy on governance issues under Bulawayo Youth Integrity Network.
